Linda Beth Head, 79, passed away on January 22nd, 2023.

Linda was born May 27th, 1943, in Rogers, Texas. In her early childhood years, she lived in Rosebud, Texas, and later her family moved to Houston where she graduated John H. Reagan High School. While in Houston she worked for the State and met her future husband, Robert, who she married on February 7, 1970. While living in Houston they were blessed with two children, Kerri and Michael. In the early 1980’s Linda, her husband, and her children moved to Durango, CO to experience the outdoors and the beauty of living near the mountains.

In the 1990’s Linda and Robert decided to return to Texas and settled in Early. Linda was a dedicated Walmart employee and worked at the Brownwood store for over 20 years, retiring in 2017. She made several friends in the Brownwood area, and it seemed wherever she went, she would run into someone she knew.

Linda often had a smile on her face, and she had good sense of humor with a contagious laugh. Linda was a wonderful person with a kind heart, and she often helped others in times of need. She was also a devout Christian.

Linda is survived by her husband of 52 years, Robert, who lives in Early. She is also survived by her daughter Kerri Casino, who lives in Fullerton, CA; step-daughter Debbie Ruid of Wisconsin; her two grandchildren, Hailey and Carson Casino; and her siblings Billy, Winfred, Layne and Wayne Springer and her sister, Barbara Williams.

Linda was laid to rest at the Powers Chapel Cemetery in Rosebud, Texas.
