BURKBURNETT – The Brownwood Lions and Borger Bulldogs played to a 1-1 tie in regulation, but the Lions were outscored in a penalty kick shootout to drop their second game at the Burkburnett tournament Friday morning.

Junior Martinez scored the Lions’ goal in regulation, while Caleb Nelson and Jermiah Chacon converted in the shootout.

Brownwood (3-7-1) will be back in action at 8 a.m. Saturday as tournament action resumes for head coach Michael Westerman’s squad.
