Item 1. Call the meeting to order.

Item 3. Introductions, Announcements and Recognitions.

Item 4. The Board will consider approval of the minutes:

1. BMDD regular board meeting – November 15, 2022

2. Joint board meeting – December 12, 2022

Item 5. The Board will discuss and consider approval of a Resolution to update the rules to

the Building Improvement Incentive Program (BIIP) grant program.

Item 6. The Board will review the following reports:

1. Checklist – December
2. Income Statement – December
3. Event Center Expense Report
4. Loan and Incentive Summary – December
5. Sales Tax – Paid in January
6. Unemployment numbers
7. Project Updates and Activity

Item 7. The BMDD Board may convene into a closed executive session in the

Haynes Conference Room, pursuant to the provisions of the Open

Meetings Law, Chapter 551, Government Code Vernon’s Annotated, in

accordance with the authority contained in the following section:

Section 551.071 – Consultation with Attorney

Section 551.087 – Deliberations regarding economic development negotiations

1. Discussion of a possible Building Improvement Incentive Program grant for a Downtown business.

Item 8. The Board will reconvene into Regular Session in the City Council Chambers to

take any action deemed necessary as result of the Executive Session.
