Rodney Dale Parton, 60, of Coleman, died Monday, January 9, 2023 at his residence.

Rodney was born February 9, 1962 in Clovis, New Mexico to Clarence Parton and Patricia Kirby Parton.  He grew in Novice and graduated from Novice High School.

At an early age, Rodney loved playing the drums.  He collected all kinds of hats and never missed a Dallas Cowboys game.  Rodney worked at General Leather Craft Manufacturing in Coleman. He loved his family and will be missed by all.

Preceding Rodney in death are his parents, Clarence and Patricia Parton.

He is survived by a brother, Randal Parton and wife, Tammy; a step niece, Brittany Robinson and husband, Cory, of Coleman; two step nephews, Brian Fry of Coleman, Brandon Fry of Marble Falls; aunts and uncles, James Vineyard, James and Sharon Kirby, Eddie and Marie Kirby, Eola Lewis, Anita Parton and numerous cousins.

A private inurnment will be held at the Midway Cemetery.  Services are entrusted to Stevens Funeral Home in Coleman.
