A graveside funeral service for Shawn Fagundes, age 41, of Brownwood, will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, December 31, 2022, in the Cedar Point Cemetery under the direction of Heartland Funeral Home.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday evening from 6:00 until 8:00.

Shawn passed from this life on Monday, December 26, 2022, in Dallas.

Shawn Martin Fagundes was born on January 22, 1981, in Brownwood, to Norman and Brenda Fagundes.  He worked as a loader for UPS in Dallas.  Shawn enjoyed hunting, fishing, and doing tattoos. He was also a Dallas Cowboys fan.

Shawn is survived by a son, Dalton Tannor Fagundes, his parents, Luther Knight and Brenda Fagundes, three sisters, Tina Saenz and her husband Chino, Lacy Holleman, Samantha Fagundes; two brothers, Lucas Knight and his wife Dee and Cody Fagundes; uncles, Troy Holleman, David Holleman, Ricky Holleman, Bobby Holleman, Michael Holleman, Shorty Knight, Johnny Knight and wife Nancy, Billy Yonnie and wife Joy and Kirk Sanders; aunts, Punkin Holleman, Sherry Holleman, Colleen Holleman; nephews, Braxton Fagundes, Talan Knight and Ethan Shelley and nieces, Hennassi Saenz, Annika Knight, and Hadley and many friends and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Peggy and Troy Holleman, and paternal grandparents, Norman Fagundes and Faye Holland.
