Steve Galvan, 64 years old, of Brownwood, Texas, passed away on Monday, December 19, 2022 in Brownwood.

Visitation will be between 1pm-4pm on Wednesday, December 28, 2022 at Brownwood Funeral.

Funeral services will be held at 11am on Thursday, December 29, 2022 at Brownwood Funeral with Aparicio Puentes of Templo La Hermorsa, officiating. Burial will follow at Greenleaf Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Brownwood Funeral Home 2512 Belle Plain in Brownwood Texas 76801.

Steve Galvan was born in San Antonio, Texas to Esteban Galvan and Francis Galvan on February 4, 1958. He attended Brownwood High in Brownwood. He graduated from Brownwood High in 1977. He married Yolanda Valadez on June 7, 1977 in Brownwood.

He served in the National Guard for a brief time. He enjoyed cooking out, playing the drums and dominos.

Steve Galvan was preceded in death by his parents, Esteban and Francis Galvan, his son Michael Galvan and nephew Tony Galvan.

Steve Galvan is survived by wife, Yolanda Galvan, and their 4 children, Yolanda and husband Jose Garza, of Brownwood; Stephanie and husband Juan Gutierrez of Brownwood; Stephen and wife Leanne Galvan of California; and son Jonathon Galvan, brother, Valentine Galvan, and sister, Mary Alicia Vasquez. He had 4 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. He had several nieces and nephews which included Valentine and Jimmy Galvan.
