Early High School posted the following on Facebook Thursday morning:

Early High School is proud to announce the second set of Student Spotlights for the 2022-2023 school year! The Student Spotlight provides a platform in which the faculty can brag about students and recognize them and the positive influence they have on our school and community. The recognized students are young men and women who embody what it means to be an Early Longhorn. Teachers selected two students from each grade level and included a short quote for why they chose them.

Pictured (clockwise from top left) are:

Freshmen Emma Blanton, Rohyn Price
“Emma is diligent and eager to improve her skills. She works hard to do the best she can.”
“Rohyn has an uplifting, positive attitude. He is always willing to help both teachers and peers. He’s a stand-out student.”

Sophomores Jas Duong, Weston Barton
“Jas has been such a light in class and always gives 100% of her effort to every assignment. She goes out of her way to make everyone around her have a good day. Jas is enthusiastic, creative, kind, and an eager and successful participant in her classes.
“Weston is willing to do what it takes to be successful.”

Juniors Venicia Acker, Calvin Clubb

“Venicia is a hard worker. If she says she will do something, she always follows through. She is a top-notch student with a servant’s heart!”

“Calvin continues to amaze with his musical abilities. He works hard every day to improve.”

Seniors Allison Diaz, Carson Leigh
“Allison is a clear leader who is responsible and hardworking, always representing EHS well. She gives 110% effort despite a busy schedule.
“Carson has an outstanding work ethic and attitude.”
