The Early Police Department posted the following on its Facebook page Monday morning:

On Saturday, Dec. 3, officers received a call of a domestic disturbance in a vehicle near the 1300 block of Early Blvd. A witness reported seeing the male and female fighting in a vehicle which then left the road and struck a house then traveled through the back yard striking a fence.

After conducting the investigation the driver Buddy Don Allen from De Leon was arrested and charged with DWI, possession of marijuana, tampering with evidence and assault family violence.

While officers completed the accident portion of the investigation the female passenger requested to get her purse from the vehicle. Officers observed her get her purse then reach in the glove box and retrieve a bag of marijuana and attempted to put it in her purse. Officers then searched the purse and vehicle and located wax which is a marijuana concentrate containing THC.

The female, Kyndra Maurine Allen, also from De Leon was placed under arrest for possession of marijuana, possession of controlled substance and tampering with evidence.

The owners of the residence had to stay somewhere else due to power being shut off due to electrical wires being torn loose.
