13 sentenced in 35th District Court

The office of District Attorney Micheal Murray issued the following press release Monday regarding felony cases heard in 35th District Court by Judge Mike Smith.

  • Jonathan Ray Jones pled guilty to the felony offense of Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver and was sentenced to 25 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.
  • Forrest Nicholas Eaton pled guilty to the Lesser Included Offense of Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver and was sentenced to 15 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.
  • Lisa Marie Gross, on probation for the felony offenses of Possession of a Controlled Substance-Drug Free Zone and Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver, was revoked and sentenced to 10 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.
  • Jacqueline Deskins, on probation of the felony offense of Assault Against a Public Servant, was revoked and sentenced to 7 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.
  • Zachary McClellan, on probation for the felony offense of Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon, was adjudicated and sentenced to 7 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division. Further, McClellan pled guilty to the state jail felony offense of Possession of a Controlled Substance and was sentenced to 2 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, State Jail Division.
  • Joshua Caleb Modgling, on probation for the felony offense of Driving While Intoxicated, was revoked and sentenced to 5 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.
  • Jami Ray Ball, on probation for the felony offense of Burglary of a Habitation, was revoked and sentenced to 5 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division. Further, Ball, on probation for the state jail felony offense of Possession of a Controlled Substance, was revoked and sentenced to 12 months, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, State Jail Division.
  • Arthur Lopez pled guilty to the felony offense of Possession of a Controlled Substance-Drug Free Zone and was sentenced to 2 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.
  • Patrick Thompson pled guilty to the felony offense of Assault Family Violence-Occlusion and Continuous Violence Against the Family and was sentenced to 2 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.
  • John Tipton Stanley, Jr., on probation for the state jail felony offenses of Criminal Mischief Invasive Visual Recording, was revoked and sentenced to 2 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, State Jail Division.
  • Ethan Vance Wills pled guilty to the state jail felony offense of Assault Family Violence-Enhanced and sentenced to 18 months, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, State Jail Division.
  • Brian Keith Lancaster, on probation for the state jail felony offense of Possession of a Controlled Substance, was revoked and sentenced to 12 months, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, State Jail Division.
  • Latasha Denise Holman, on probation for the state jail felony offense of Possession of a Controlled Substance, was adjudicated and sentenced to 12 months, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, State Jail Division.
