BANGS – The Bangs Lady Dragons posted a 2-3 record at their own basketball tournament over the weekend.

Bangs picked up wins over Early (30-19) and Brady (35-25), with losses against Eastland once and Clyde twice.

Mason defeated Eastland in the tournament championship game.

Bangs is back in action at 11:15 a.m. Tuesday at Hawley.

Newcastle 44, May Lady Tigers 28

MAY – The May Lady Tigers slipped to 2-3 on the season with a 44-28 loss to Newcastle Saturday.

May trailed 18-0 after one quarter, 23-2 at halftime and 35-12 after three quarters.

Mia Musick led May with 12 points.

The Lady Tigers are back in action at 11 a.m. Monday when they host Hawley.
