Howard Payne University’s Symphonic Band and the Central Texas Community Band will present a community Christmas concert on Tuesday, November 29, at 7:30 p.m. The concert will be held at HPU’s Mims Auditorium and is free of charge.

Compositions featured will include “Sleigh Ride” by Leroy Anderson, “Boughs of Holly” by the Trans-Siberian Orchestra, a medley of Christmas favorites entitled “Christmas Memories,” and many others.

“Everyone is invited to come and enjoy an evening of exciting, toe-tapping music as we prepare for the Christmas holiday season,” stated Frank Nelson, director of bands at Howard Payne University and director of the Central Texas Community Band. “Invite a friend and join us for this wonderful evening of music.”
