The Salvation Army of Brownwood recently posted the following on its Facebook page:

Christmas season is almost upon us. Which means that I am going to be attempting to recruit as many of you as possible to help ring the bells at the kettles this year in Brownwood and Early.

Help!!!! Youth groups. Schools. Businesses. Anyone and everyone can volunteer. Right now we are feeding anywhere from 70 to sometimes over 100 people a day at The Salvation Army. The red kettles during Christmas season are our primary fundraiser for the year. We will begin Friday November 25th and go through Christmas Eve. You can sign up online and schedule a time to volunteer to ring at the following link. https://registertoring.com/

if you cannot sign up online feel free to send me a text to (3256424096) with the time and location you’d like to volunteer. I will be more than happy to put you on the rotation. Another convenient way to give is with the following QR code (available on the Salvation Army Brownwood Facebook page). When you do make sure you mark it to the Brownwood location. All the funds that come in through the red kettles are for use in Brown County.

Just scan with your camera and follow the prompts. Thank you all and God bless!! – ~ Pastor Kelly
