Fredrick G. Carpenter Jr., age 51 of Brownwood, passed away Wednesday, November 2, 2022. The family will host a Celebration of Life for Fred at 2:00PM on Sunday, November 6 at J-R’s Social Club in Brownwood. Cremation is under the direction of Heartland Funeral Home in Early.

Fred was born to Sherry and Fredrick G. Carpenter Sr. on September 25, 1971 in Lubbock. Fred met and married his wife Julie A. Jackson on May 9, 1997 while attending Nursing School at South Plains College in Lubbock…they have shared over 25 wonderful years of marriage. Fred later went on to earn many certifications in the IT field. He began working as the IT manager at Brownwood Regional Medical Center and later became an IT Tech at 3M. Fred enjoyed RC cars, planes and boats, stunt kites, the Dallas Cowboys and Nascar. Fred had a fun-loving personality and really enjoyed making people laugh. He loved and cared deeply for his dogs and his country.

Fred is survived by his wife, Julie Carpenter; his son, Mason Carpenter; granddaughter, Heather Carpenter; his parents, Larry and Sherry Beasley; sisters, Kimberly Marshall, Kelly Porter and husband Nick; mother and father-in-law, John and Suzanne Jackson; sister and brother-in-law, Rhonda Saulsbury and John Gerace, sister and brother-in-law Cindy and John Hawley. Fred is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, and a host of friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Fred G., Carpenter Sr., and sister-in-law Shelley Snyder.
