Daniel Solis

Daniel Antonio Solis, age 31, a native of Brownwood, died tragically on November 1, 2022.

Catholic Mass for Daniel will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, November 7, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Brownwood. Following the service, Daniel will be laid to rest at Greenleaf Cemetery. Immediately afterwards, a reception will be held at St. Mary’s Catholic Church Reception Hall for all who would like to attend. Family, friends, and others whose lives Daniel touched are invited to Blaylock Funeral Home on Sunday, November 6, for visitation from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m., followed by a Rosary service beginning at 5:00 p.m. Arrangements are under the direction of Blaylock Funeral Home of Brownwood.

Daniel was born on February 2, 1991, to Cynthia and Elroy Solis Sr. He was an alumnus of Bangs High School. Daniel was a beloved member of a large family located mainly in the Central Texas area. He was known for his kindness, his giving and loving nature, and for how hardworking he was. Daniel was adored by all who met him. He was a beautiful young man who enjoyed spending his days with his children and the many members of his family. He was also an avid fan of physical fitness and strived to lead a healthy lifestyle. Daniel was a deeply devoted father, son, grandson, nephew, and brother who will be forever missed.

Daniel is survived by his daughters, Bella and Xavia Solis, and son, Ryder Blake; his mother, Cynthia Solis; his brothers, Elroy Solis Jr. and John Paul Solis; his sister, Lauren Solis; maternal grandmother, Yolanda Moreno and paternal grandmother, Irene Solis. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Elroy Sr.; his maternal grandfather, Antonio Pena Moreno; his paternal grandfather, Martin Solis; and two nephews, Xavier Mendoza and John Paul Solis Jr.
