Christmas Under the Stars Lighted Parade set for Dec. 1

The Brownwood Area Chamber of Commerce issued the following press release Friday afternoon:

Entry forms for the annual Brownwood Christmas Under the Stars Lighted Parade are now being accepted.

This year’s parade will be held on Thursday, December 1st beginning at 7:00 PM and is sponsored by Texas Rock Crusher Railway.

The parade is open to floats, vehicles, horses, classic cars, marching bands and more. Cost to enter the parade is $25 per entry for Brownwood Area Chamber of Commerce members and $50 for non-members with the deadline being November 25th. The parade is limited to the first 100 vehicles.

The Lighted Parade will kick off a weekend of holiday events in Brownwood including the 14th Annual Christmas Festival being held in downtown Brownwood on Saturday, December 3rd from 9am-3pm. The festival will include Santa Claus, kids’ activities, and more. The 4th Annual Sipping Under the Stars will also be held on Saturday, December 3rd following the Christmas Festival in Downtown Brownwood beginning at 6pm.
