Linda Wells

Linda Wells, age 77, of Early went to be with her Lord and Savior Wednesday, October 19, 2022, at home surrounded by her loved ones.

Graveside Service for Linda will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 22, 2022, at Jenkins Springs Cemetery with Brian Hall officiating; visitation will be held prior to services from 9 to 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home. Arrangements are under the direction of Blaylock Funeral Home of Brownwood.

Linda was born on October 24, 1944, to Olen and Mary (Drake) Kelley in Brownwood. She attended Early High School. She married Jimmy Wells on April 14, 1989. She attended and graduated from Ranger Jr. College to become an LVN. Linda loved being a nurse and caring for everyone, she retired in 2012.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy “Jim” Wells Sr.; a son, Jimmy Ray Wells Jr.; her parents, Olen and Mary Kelley; two sisters, Clara Shirk and Bertha Dunn; and a brother, Olen Kelley.

Linda is survived by her son, Rick Wells and wife Ida of San Angelo; three grandchildren, Tara Wells of San Angelo, Terrance and Tanner Wells of Fort Stockton; two brothers, Ed Kelley and wife Linda of Early, Willard Kelley and wife Patty of Stephenville. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and her friends.
