Dortha Jo Jamison, age 75, of Bangs formerly of California passed away Monday, October 17, 2022, at a local nursing facility.

Graveside Services for Dortha will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, October 20, 2022, at Bangs Cemetery with Dianna Coutee officiating. There is no set visitation. Arrangements are under the direction of Blaylock Funeral Home of Brownwood.

Dortha was born on July 20, 1947, to Ira and Zenobia (Cleare) Jamison in Foreman, Arkansas. She loved crafting and knitting, as well as playing Bingo.

Dortha is survived by her 3 sisters, Annie Ragland of Bangs, Earmie Jamison of Bangs, and Pearl Jamison of Abilene; and 2 brothers, Gus Jamison and wife Loretta of Brownwood, Troy Lee Jamison of Fresno, CA. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ira and Zenobia Jamison; and 3 brothers, Roy Lee Jamison, Cartlee Jamison, and Ira Jamison Jr.
