Juan Torres was born on May 21, 1947, to Carmen and Anita Lucio Torres in San Felipe, GTO, Mexico. He worked as a ranch hand in the Lawn area for a number of years. He was a member of St. Mary Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Brownwood. Juan loved gardening, visiting his nieces and nephews and spending Sunday with his brother Felix.

Juan is survived by his brothers, Felix, Luz and Beto; nieces, Brenda Reyes and husband Jesus of Rising Star and Ana Torres of Mexico, a nephew Juan Torres and wife Rosalba of Oklahoma and many other nieces and nephews that loved him dearly.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Juan passed from this life on Sunday, October 2, 2022, at age 75.

A mass will be held at 3:00 PM, Saturday, October 8, 2022, in St. Mary Queen of Peace Catholic Church on Brownwood.
