Laurie Walton Casey, 54, of Stephenville, passed from this life into her heavenly father’s arms on October 2nd, after a long and courageous battle with cancer.

Laurie was born on October 3, 1967, in Stamford.

Watching the TV show Friends and rooting for the Dallas Cowboys were some of her favorite pastimes. She also had a sweet tooth for Reese’s peanut butter cups and Dr. Pepper. She loved spending time with her daughter and her three beautiful grandchildren, who she adored. She also had a sweet dog, Bubby, that she spent every moment with.

Left behind to cherish her memory are her daughter Shilah Delatorre and husband, Hector of Brownwood, her three precious grandchildren Rayne, Raelynn, and Dean Delatorre, father Joe Walton of Stamford, sister Tammy Bannister and husband Mark of Brownwood, sister Angie Wilson of Quanah, brother Bill Wilson and wife Joy of Wheeler, sister Kenni Ford of Norman, OK, and husband Frank Boykin, of Stephenville. She is also survived by numerous special nieces and nephews and friends.

Laurie was preceded in death by her mother; Linda Baccus Cupps, stepmother; Cindy Walton, and brother; Keny Wilson.

The family will host a Celebration of Life for Laurie from 3:00 until 5:00 on Saturday, October 8, 2022, in the Hope Class at the Austin Avenue Church of Christ.

Condolences, memories, and tributes can be offered to the Casey family online at heartlandfuneralhome.net.
