STEPHENVILLE – The Brownwood Lady Lions slipped to 0-3 in District 6-4A volleyball action and 4-18 on the season Friday night as they suffered a 25-8, 25-9, 25-13 loss at Stephenville.

Brownwood received three kills each from Aubrie Felux and Hannah Deen, two from Ava Choate and Kassidy Wooten and one by Emma Ringer.

Ringer distributed seven assists and served an ace, while Choate added a pair of service aces.

Defensively for Brownwood, Wooten registered 18 digs followed by Deen with 11, Molly Oliver with five, Choate, Felux, Ringer, and Miranda Northcutt with two apiece, and Aniah Hines with one.

At the net, Hines and Ringer tallied two blocks apiece.

The Lady Lions are back in action at 6 p.m. Tuesday at Mineral Wells to wrap up the first half of district and conclude a four-match road swing.
