Ida Lee Valdez age 54, of Brownwood, passed away September 21st, 2022 in Abilene. Funeral services for Ida will be held at 2 P.M. on Monday, September 26, in the Heartland Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 P.M. on Sunday, September 25, at Heartland Funeral Home.
Ida was born to Jesse and Maria Celaya on October 18,1967, in Dimmit, Texas. She married Tony Valdez in 1980, and they were blessed with three children. Ida enjoyed spending time with family, especially with her grandchildren and crafting.
Ida is survived by her children; Veronica Valdez and spouse Adrian Pruett, Antonio Valdez and spouse Kristian Cox, Valerie Valdez and spouse Kenny Ouchi; her mother, Maria Celaya; siblings, Angie Balderaz, Minnie Rivera, Katie Nunez; 8 grandchildren, Kayden, Kaylie, Alexis, Ciera, Tony, Adriana, Mackenzie, and Infinity, as well as many nieces, nephews and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Antonio Valdez; father, Jesse Celaya; siblings, Jessie Celaya Jr. and Nickie Garcia.
