Bombers 12u Sheffield Gold team wins “4 The Heroes Fall Kickoff” tournament in Seguin this past weekend. The Bombers had a rough start to the weekend, but on Sunday they worked through a single elimination bracket to take 1st place. They beat a Bombers National team 7-3 in the championship game. 

Highlights from the weekend were Amarrea Thomas hitting a homerun over the left field fence. Corinne Sheffield was named MVP. She pitched two back-to-back games to help her team. She averaged 1.14 strikeouts an inning and had an ERA of .069.
