LIPAN – The Brownwood JV Lady Lions finished first as a team at Wednesday’s Lipan Invitational, generating 31 points to edge out runner-up Stephenville (35 points).

Miranda Northcutt finished first overall in a personal-best time of 13:51.08 followed by Arieseli Hernandez in second place (14:46.35) and Haylee Adkins in third (15:00.49), both of whom also improved their personal record times.

Also competing were Kiara Delce (21^st, 16:18.61), Brooklynn Manasco (24^th, 16:49.62), Jazmine Rivas (26^th, 17:13.49), Ciara McDonough (28^th, 17:23.22), and Ashley Robinson (39^th, 20:42.32). Delce and McDonough PR’ed as well.

The Lady Lions varsity will be back in action Saturday at the Lubbock Invitational.
