BRECKENRIDGE – The Early Lady Horns slipped to 1-1 in District 8-3A volleyball action and 8-11 on the season with Tuesday’s 25-9, 25-15, 25-20 road loss to the Breckenridge Lady Bucks.

Stoney Laughlin sparked the attack for Early with three kills followed by two from Gabby Leal and one each from Averey Horton, Matty Boswell, Dakota Barksdale and Trinity Torrez.

Trinity Torrez finished with nine assists and one ace while Madison Torrez, Jenna Hataway and Boswell also served an ace.

Defensively, Leal and Laughlin were each credited with one block.

Also, Hataway notched two digs while Boswell and Leal finished with one apiece.

Early will be back in action at noon Saturday when it hosts Dublin.
