Linda M. Spence, 76, of Colbert OK, passed away in the morning hours on September 7, 2022, at Texoma Medical Center, Sherman, TX. Family and Friends are invited to a graveside service at 2:00 pm, September 10, at Eastlawn Memorial Park, 1921 Early Blvd, Early, TX 76802. There will be no formal visitation prior to the service.

Linda was born November 12, 1945, fourth child to Charles Cleburne and Lela Pearl Stanley in Coleman County, TX. She attended Sidney school through her sophomore year, then moved to Santa Anna, Tx, graduating from Santa Anna ISD in 1963. She married after graduation and was blessed with 3 children. She was divorced in 1975 and later married Randall B. Spence on July 12, 1982 in Brownwood, TX. He preceded her in death, December 12, 2000. She then moved to Oklahoma, where she enjoyed living near her eldest daughter, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She enjoyed hunting, fishing, bowling, socializing, playing games with friends, coloring pictures, singing and participating in group activities.

She is preceded in death by her parents, sisters, brother, husband and two grandsons: Lance Vasquez & Jarrod Harvey. Survivors include: son- Charles W. Brown & wife, Shelly R. Brown of Merkel, TX, daughter- Marsha L. Harvey & husband, Ross D. Harvey of Boswell, OK, daughter- Shannon K. Herrod & husband, Johnny R. Herrod of Santa Anna, TX. Grand Children: Brittany Brown, William Brown, Chelcie Brown, Cody Harvey, Larissa Mangham & husband, Jonathan Mangham, Dustin Harvey, Sarah Worsham & husband, Brandon Worsham, Jacob Herrod and wife, Grace Herrod, as well as 9 great grandchildren.

Memorials are suggested in memory of Linda to the Santa Anna First Baptist Church (for missions’ outreach, 201 S. Lee St, Santa Anna, TX 76878) Or Santa Anna Ex-student association scholarship fund. (Send money to Ex Students at Santa Anna National Bank 608 Wallis Santa Anna, TX 76878).
