The Bombers rolled through the bracket on Sunday, making it to the championship game and placing 2nd at the Labor Day Madness Tourney in Abilene. A highlight was beating a class A Mercado team (Mendoza), who had a tough little squad. The Bombers heart and hustle never stopped. Tatum Adams was named tourney MVP by her coaches. She made key plays in the field, was clutch at the plate and on the bases.
