The Early Police Department posted the following information on its Facebook page Tuesday:

  • On Saturday, Aug. 27, Aaron Michael Hodges was arrested during a disturbance call on Sudderth Dr. With outstanding warrants, Hodges was taken into custody and booked into the Brown County Jail.
  • On Saturday, Aug. 27, officers stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation. When officers attempted to check the driver’s license, he stated he did not have one. Officers checked the license and determined the license was invalid. The driver, Robert Weston Barnard was placed under arrested for driving while license invalid with previous convictions. While officers inventoried the vehicle, they located a syringe loaded with a brown liquid. A field test indicated the liquid to be methamphetamines. Barnard was also charged with possession of controlled substance.
  • On Thursday, Aug. 25, officers stopped a vehicle on Hillcrest drive for a traffic violation. While talking to the driver outside the vehicle, the officer questioned the driver, Rochelle Marie Lane regarding any weapons on them. Lane voluntarily reached in her pockets to pull them out and show there were no weapons when a small plastic baggie containing a crystal-like substance fell out on the ground. Officers retrieved the baggie and field tested it which showed positive for methamphetamines. Rochelle Marie Lane was arrested for possession of controlled substance, driving while license suspended with fail to maintain financial responsibility and taken to the Brown County Jail.
  • On Thursday, Aug. 25, officers responded to Garmon Drive to a reported reckless driver. The vehicle reportedly almost struck several vehicles and had also lost a motorcycle off his trailer several miles back. Officers located the vehicle and conducted a traffic stop near East River Oaks. The driver was provided a field sobriety test which he failed. Eldon Ray Hackett from New Mexico was arrested for DWI and taken to the Brown County Jail.
