Bob (Robert) Carlton Raborn

Bob (Robert) Carlton Raborn blessed his parents, Ed and Juanita Raborn with his arrival on April 2, 1952 in Dayton, Texas. He joined them, other family members and friends in Heaven on Friday, August 19, 2022 at the age of 70.

Bob was raised in Snyder, Texas. He worked for AT&T, retiring after 38 years in 2017. Bob enjoyed touring America on his Harley Davidson. He also enjoyed hosting on the slopes of Red River, NM.

He is preceded in death by his parents and brother Bill Raborn.

Bob is survived by his wife Karen; son Anthony Raborn and wife Brooke; daughter April Raborn; his bonus children, Kim Glenn, Randy Glenn and wife Mikea, Stephanie Glenn and Chris Chavez. He leaves behind 6 precious grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. He is also survived by his siblings, Johnny Raborn and wife Sherie, Wanda Reynolds and husband Randy, Sam Raborn and John McMillian.

His family will host a visitation on Sunday, August 21, 2022 at Kents Harley Davidson, 3106 South Clack in Abilene from 5 to 7 pm. Services will be Monday at Wylie Baptist Church, 6097 Buffalo Gap Rd. in Abilene at 10:30 am.
