Michael Quinn Sullivan

Are you upset about what is happening with the U.S. Government and or the State of Texas?  Do you want to get involved and take action?  The Pecan Valley Republican Women’s Club cordially extends an invitation to members of the community to attend their upcoming monthly meeting, featuring Michael Quinn Sullivan as guest speaker on Thursday August 18, 6:00 PM. at the Brownwood Country Club.

Michael Quinn Sullivan (MQS) is the publisher of Texas Scorecard. Through multiple media formats, they educate and inspire Texans to exercise effective citizenship. Texas Scorecard is: Never personal, always trustworthy, with the facts in context, relentlessly pro-citizen, unabashedly pro-liberty, Pursuing our heritage of self-governance, Inspiring, without venting.

Using research, reporting, and advocacy, their goal is to empower taxpayers to advocate for good governance and hold their elected officials accountable.

“The greatest threat to our state’s economic growth and competitiveness is the weight of government on the economy.” We believe that if government and taxes are allowed to grow without restraint, the economy will contract, thereby limiting opportunities for all Texans.

“We seek policy outcomes that provide increasing levels of economic liberty and opportunity for all Texans by controlling the size of government. Government power and reach must be strictly limited, with elected officials held accountable by active and informed citizens.”

Texans must be informed about policy solutions consistent with the principles of individual liberty and free markets.

MQS will be speaking on all current events, election integrity, The invasion at the border, what’s going on with the appraisal districts, local school boards, infiltration of our lands by China and other issues that affect our individual lives. He has insight on the good, the bad, and the ugly about the Texas Legislature. He does not sugar coat the truth.

The Fort Worth Star Telegram said Sullivan “slays taxpayer dragons in Austin… When the heat is on in Austin, Michael Quinn Sullivan knows how to make it even hotter.”

Texas Monthly dubbed him “the enforcer,” on their list of the 25 most influential Texans.

The Dallas Morning News has called him the state’s most influential unelected Texas Republican.

Please make your plans to attend, you won’t want to miss this opportunity!  And bring a friend, also bring your questions. MQS is well versed in all the activities going on in Austin and is always striving and willing to share with all Texans.

The Country Club buffet will be available for $15.

Please RSVP to 325-998-3880 by Wednesday, Aug. 17 to help us prepare adequately for you.
