Weatherford – Bobby J. Lamkin, passed away Sat., Aug. 6, 2022 surrounded by family. Born on Mar. 26, 1950 in Arlington, TX to Macie and Raymond (Bob) Lamkin.

He loved his grandkids so much that 2 years ago, he moved from Brownwood (his home of 25+ years) to be near them. He loved to fish, being outside, and being at the lake. Over the last few years, his favorite place was on the beach listening to the waves with his family.

Bobby was preceded in death by his parents and his wife Jane S. Lamkin. He is survived by his son Tommy Lamkin of Weatherford; daughter Angela and husband Matt Wills of Millsap; daughter Christy and husband Jeff Barnes of Frisco; stepdaughters Kim Jones and Lisa Hamilton; and grandkids Brittany, Bradley, Ryan, Kensley, Gary, Grace, Tyler and Payton.
