Linda Kay Fisher Marino passed away on Friday, July 15th 2022, at the age of 63, at her home in Brownwood, Texas after a courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by loved ones who cherish her deeply. Her family will host a visitation from 6 to 8 pm on Tuesday, July 19th at Heartland Funeral Home. Funeral Services will follow at 10 am Wednesday at the Heartland Funeral Home in Early.

Linda was born on November 25, 1958 in Wichita, Kansas to Robert Fisher and Paula Lloyd. She graduated from Spring Branch High School in Houston, Texas. Linda then entered the workforce and ended up working for George R. Brown Partnership as the Executive Assistant and Engineering Administrator from 1982-2004. She then moved to Brownwood, Texas and started working for Insurance Specialists. Linda was always dedicated to her work, she found love in what she did and built life-long friendships with her co-workers that she cherished dearly.

Linda was a strong woman who wore her heart on her sleeve. You always knew how she felt because she told you like it is whether you wanted to hear it or not. Linda loved all things outdoors, a country girl at heart. She was most proud of her turkey feathers mounted in her living room. During hunting season, she could almost always be found in a deer blind or hunting turkeys or hogs. Linda was also highly skilled with knitting needles and crochet hooks. She made sure her daughters and grandbabies all had their own personalized blanket made by Nana.

Linda married Michael Davis in 1979 in Houston, Texas and together they had 2 daughters, Nina and Pamela. Linda was a dedicated mother who treasured her daughters and loved being Nana to her grandchildren.

Linda is survived by her daughters; Nina Wallace of Tomball, TX and Pamela Davis of Shepherd, TX; her father Robert Fisher of Ballinger, TX; sisters, Cynthia Hall and Donna Fisher both of Ballinger, TX and Denise Richards of San Angelo, TX; brother Daniel Fisher of Ballinger, TX; along with 6 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

Linda was preceded in death by her mother, Paula and step-father, Don Lloyd; step-mother, Geraldine Fisher.

Condolences, memories and tributes can be offered to the family online at heartlandfuneralhome.net.
