The 12u Bombers Sheffield squad won the championship this last weekend playing up in the 14u division. They were undefeated on the weekend. 

Congrats to Brenda Allen and Amarrea Thomas who won MVP awards in pool play. Burkleigh Gonzalez was on fire this weekend and was awarded a game ball for hitting .883 on the weekend. Maty Quick was also stellar at the plate as she hit .556 for the weekend. Andie Simpson, Gabrielle Volz and Jensen Harrower each hit .333 on the weekend as well. 

Corinne Sheffield was chosen as MVP by the opposing coach in the championship . She averaged 2 strikeouts an inning on the mound and hit .400 at the plate. 

Bombers Sheffield 12u will finish out their season in a tournament at the end of this month in New Mexico. Tryouts for Bombers will take place next week on July 18th and July 19th . 8u and 10u will have tryouts from 5:30-7pm and 12u and 14u will be from 7pm-8:30pm. Tryouts will be held at Bert Massey Sports Complex.
