Fishing Reports 6/8/22

The following fishing reports are provided by the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department for the week of June 8:

LAKE BROWNWOOD

Fishing is good.  Water slightly stained; 81-83 degrees; 3.61 feet low.

Bass are fair to good up to 4-lb. on crankbaits and jigs on hardwoods and between docks.  The topwater bite is starting to pick up.

Crappie are good to 1.25-lb. on minnows and jigs from 10-15 feet of water on brush piles and under docks.

White bass are good to 1-lb. on crankbaits casting or trolling.

Catfish are slow on cut bait, liver, and perch.

LAKE CISCO

Fishing is GREAT.  Water stained; 79 degrees; 4.76 feet low.  The fish are biting great after the recent rains.

Crappie are biting best in the evenings with minnows.

LAKE COLEMAN

Fishing is slow.  Water slightly stained; 80 degrees; 2.93 feet low.  Summer fishing patterns are here with the best fishing early morning and later in the evening.

Bass are fair with some topwater action early, and then switching to diving crankbaits, on senkos on grass beds.

Crappie are fair on minnows and jigs on main lake brush piles.

Catfish are fair on cut bait.

Hybrid stripers are fair starting to school with some topwater action.

LAKE O.H. IVIE

Fishing is GREAT.  Water clear; 77 degrees; 18.48 feet low.

White bass are starting to run with a good bite on live bait, jigs, and crankbaits.

Crappie are good with jigs and minnows.

Largemouth bass are good.

Catfish are good on prepared baits, live and cut bait.

LAKE PROCTOR

Fishing is good.  Water stained; 77 degrees; 3.24 feet low.

White bass and stripers are fair on windy points with slabs.

Black bass are poor.

Crappie are fair on brush piles.

Catfish are fair at the back of the lake.
