Brown County Sheriff’s Report – June 3

  • On Thursday, May 26, Deputy Saydie Bradley, arrived at FM 2126. This was in regard to found property. A report was made.
  • On Friday, May 27, Deputy Joe Thomas was dispatched to a report of a burglary. A report was made.
  • On Friday, May 27 at about 6:01 p.m. Deputy Byron Langley arrived at Weedon’s Way in Brownwood. This was in regard to a deceased person. Langley spoke to a witness who stated her husband had died after complaining of chest pains and shortness of breath.
  • On Friday, May 27 at 8:49 p.m. Sgt Jayson Bastardo was dispatched to CR 105, Thrifty Park. This was in regard to individuals physically fighting. Upon arrival, Bastardo spoke with individual who were involved in the incident. They advised the other party involved had left prior to law enforcement arriving on scene. Information was gathered and a report was taken.
  • On Saturday, May 28 at approximately 12:34 a.m. SO units were dispatched to CR 551 in Brownwood. This was in reference to a domestic disturbance. A female subject was arrested for Assault Family Violence with Injuries.
  • On Saturday, May 28 Deputy Joe Thomas was dispatched to a report of theft. A report was made.
  • On Sunday, May 29, Deputy Joe Thomas was dispatched to a report of a sexual assault. A report was made.
  • On Monday, May 30 at about 12:50 a.m. Deputy Byron Langley, spoke, by phone, with a complainant who stated she was an RN with Coleman County Hospital ER. She advised she had two subjects who had been bitten by a stray dog. The complainant identified the victims.
  • On Monday, May 30 Deputy Toby Mathis, responded to Hendrick Medical Center Brownwood for a report of assault family violence. A suspect was later placed in custody for warrants and Possession of Controlled Substance. Two reports were made.

  • On Monday, May 30 at approximately 11:42 a.m. Deputy Ricky Herring, responded to a suspicious male subject inside an apartment passed out. Once on scene, it was determined the subject did not belong at the apartment, did not live there, and he was intoxicated. Once the subject was identified as a minor, and when asked for his driver’s license, he then handed me a pack of cigarettes. The subject was arrested for PI and MIP.
  • On Tuesday, May 31 Deputy Toby Mathis, responded to Avolyn Ave. This was for a report of hit and run. Information was gathered and a report was made.
  • On Thursday, June 2 Deputy Joe Thomas was dispatched to a report of theft. A report was made.
  • On Thursday, June 2 at approximately 5:32 p.m. Deputy Scotty Burke was dispatched to SLT Auto Sales at FM 2492. This was in reference to a hit and run investigation.
