TPWD Fishing Report – June 2

Brownwood
GOOD. Water slightly stained; 75-78 degrees; 3.56 feet low. Bass are good to 6 pounds on crankbaits and shaky heads feeding on perch beds along rocky shorelines. Most are in a summer pattern. Crappie are fair to one pound on minnows from 10-15 feet of water in brush piles and around lighted docks. White bass are excellent to 1.25 pounds trolling with small swimbaits or crankbaits. Catfish are slow on cut bait, liver and perch.
Brady
Good. Water dirty; 85 degrees; 8.80 feet low. Largemouth bass are very good with bass up to 8 pounds on chatterbaits, senkos and crankbaits. White bass are good schooling mid lake on rattle traps or topwaters. Channel catfish are good on cut shad or live perch. Blue catfish are fair on cut shad. Flathead catfish are slow on live perch. Crappie are fair in the marina on live minnows.
Cisco
GREAT. Water stained; 79 degrees; 4.96 feet low. Crappie are good on minnows on main lake brush piles. Bass are good early morning on topwaters, then switching to your favorite plastics on the edge of submerged vegetation. Channel and flathead catfish are all biting well on cut bait. Coleman
SLOW. Slightly stained; 77 degrees; 2.95 feet low. Fishing patterns are similar with the best bite early and late as the days heat up. Bass are good with some topwater action early, and then switching to diving crankbaits, or senkos. Crappie are fair on minnows and jigs on main lake brush piles. Catfish are fair on cut bait. Hybrid stripers are fair starting to school with some topwater action.
O.H. Ivie
GREAT. Water clear; 75 degrees; 18.54 feet low. White bass continue to be good with live bait, jigs and crankbaits. Watch for birds to direct you to schooling fish. Crappie are good with jigs and minnows. Largemouth bass are good. Catfish are good on prepared baits, live and cut bait. Report by Concho Park and Marina.
Proctor
GOOD. Water stained; 75 degrees; 3.21 feet low. White bass and stripers are fair on windy points with slabs. Black bass are poor. Crappie are fair on brush piles. Catfish are fair at the back of the lake.
