Brownwood‘s Memorial Day program will be on Monday, May 30 at 11 AM at the Central Texas Veterans Memorial, just east of the hospital. Memorial Day is a day to honor and remember our fallen heroes, especially the 259 Brown County veterans who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. We will also be recognizing two local veterans, Lieutenant General Terry Scott from Coleman and Major Billy Branch from Comanche County. Brigadier General Dan Locker will be the master of ceremonies. We will have chairs but you may wish to bring a lawn chair.
