The following fishing reports are provided by the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department for the week of May 11:

LAKE BROWNWOOD

Fishing is slow.  Water stained; 71-75 degrees; 3.12 feet low.

Bass are good to 8.05 pounds on jigs, crankbaits, and swimbaits along the rocky banks and docks in 3-10 feet of water.  Some bass are still spawning, most are post-spawn, and a few are in a summer pattern.

Crappie are good to 1.82 pounds on minnows and shad color jigs from 3-15 feet of water on the banks and around lighted docks.  Most females caught still have eggs.

White bass are good to 2-pounds on assorted moving baits under the lights.

Catfish are slow on cut bait and liver.

LAKE CISCO

Fishing is good.  Water stained; 70 degrees; 4.38 feet low.  The warmer weather has really turned the night bite on.  Anglers are reporting good fishing for all species in the lake.

Crappie are great on live minnows.

Catfish and sand bass are good using live minnows, perch, or crawfish.

Perch bite is good on worms.

LAKE COLEMAN

Fishing is slow.  Water slightly stained; 70 degrees; 2.62 feet low.

Bass are good with some topwater action early, and then switching to diving crankbaits, or senkos.

Crappie are fair on minnows on jigs on main lake brush piles.

Catfish are fair on cut bait.

Hybrid stripers are fair on rattletraps and slabs.

LAKE O.H. IVIE

Fishing is GREAT.  Water clear; 67-72 degrees; 17.96 feet low.

White bass are good running up the rivers biting live bait or jigs.

Crappie are good with jigs and minnows.

Largemouth bass are good.

Catfish are good shallow on prepared baits, live and cut bait.

LAKE PROCTOR

Fishing is fair.  Water stained; 76 degrees; 2.53 feet low.

Black bass are slow.

Crappie are good shallow and brush piles in 12-15 feet of water.

Catfish are fair in Copperas Creek.

Sand bass and hybrid stripers are slow on live shad.
