The Howard Payne Sports Information Department issued the following press release Tuesday:

The Howard Payne University athletic department today announced that Colleen Westfall will be stepped down as head volleyball coach.

After serving as the Howard Payne volleyball coach for eight seasons, Colleen Westfall will step away to take a position with BSN Sports, one of HPU’s athletic partners.

“We are extremely thankful for all the time, energy, and investment Coach Westfall and her family have dedicated to HPU Volleyball,” said Hunter Sims director of athletics. “She has been a valuable member of the HPU athletic department.”

Colleen Westfall will work through the end of May. HPU will begin its search for a new head coach immediately.
