Henry Clayton Patton, age 88, of Arlington, passed away Friday, April 15, 2022, at Arlington Memorial Hospital.

He was born December 9, 1933, in Anson, Texas, the son of Oddis Lee and Mae (Brown) Patton. He married Patricia Ward in Littlefield, Texas on November 21, 1960, and had lived in Brownwood for over forty years prior to moving to Arlington four years ago. He worked as a repairman for GTE while in Brownwood. He was a Baptist, and his favorite time was was spending it with family.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia Patton of Arlington, two daughters, Amy Michelle Hoffner and husband Steven of Arlington, and Angela Dawn Patton of Fort Worth. Four grandchildren, Allison Goodling and husband Seth, Jon Hoffner and fiance Jerica Arnold, Kristen Molina and husband Eric, and Megan Hoffner, and three great grandchildren, Adelaide Goodling, Levi Goodling, and India Arnold with another on the way. Two Sisters, Lauretta Wright of Arizona and Linda Fry of Fort Worth also survive.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers Wayne and Joe Patton.

Graveside funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM on Saturday April 23rd, at the Pleasant Valley Cemetery with Pastor Ron Davis officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Heriatge Funeral Home, Davis-Morris Chapel. Visitation will be held prior to the services.
