Sandra Jean Harmes

Sandra Jean Harmes, 78, of Coleman, TX, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, April 17, 2022, with her son, Stacey and her two fur babies, Pup and Bella by her side.

Sandra was born San Antonio, TX on December 8, 1943, the daughter of Ryan B. ‘Brownie’ Seals and Doris Jo Seals.

She graduated from Richardson High School, class of 1962 and then studied at Tarleton State University.

Sandra married Denny Harmes on April 20, 1963, in Coleman and they had one son, Stacey Dane Harmes.

Sandra is survived by her son Stacey Dane Harmes of Alvin, TX; granddaughter, Bridgett Anysse Harmes of Houston, TX; sister-in-law, Noreda Brock of McKinney, TX; nieces Elicia Farrell and husband Bill of Canyon Lake, TX; Denise Patterson and husband Mike of McKinney, TX; Cheree Longoria of Houston, TX; numerous great nieces and nephews; great great nephews; fur babies Pup and Bella.

Those that went before Sandra was her husband, Denny Harmes and her parents, Brownie and Doris Seals.

Family extends their appreciation to Hospice, Ashley and Benny who provided loving care for her journey home to be with Our Lord and Savior.

Family and friends will celebrate Sandra’s life and the details will be announced later.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Stevens Funeral Home, 400 W. Pecan Street, in Coleman.

The obituary has been lovingly written by the family.
