LUBBOCK – Brownwood High School’s three entries in the Region I-4A tennis tournament took the court at Texas Tech University Wednesday.

The 6-4A mixed doubles champions of Peter Le and Victoria Ramos defeated Argyle’s Tristen Marlow and Maddie White, 6-1, 6-4, before falling to the top seed from Hereford, K’Linda Mason and Nicholas Villalovos, 6-4, 6-4.

In girls doubles competition, the 6-4A runners-up ofTatum DeHart and Trinity Sessoms lost to Argyle’s Olivia Underwood and Nikki Zablosky, 6-3, 6-2 in the opening round.

And in boys singles action, 6-4A second seed River Prado dropped his lone match to Andrews’ Maddux Foster, 7-6 (2), 6-2.
