AUSTIN – Howard Payne University’s Mallory Garcia finished 4th overall at the Linda Lowery Invitational held at the Grey Rock Golf Club and hosted by Concordia University Texas this week.
HPU’s Mallory Garcia shot a 167 (84-83) to finish 4th overall at the tournament.
Bailey Farmer finished 36th overall with a 186 (91-95), and Amada Menchaca was 43rd overall with a 198 (98-100).

The Lady Jackets will compete next at the West Regional Invitational in Georgetown, Texas at the Berry Creek Country Club, hosted by Southwestern University.

Kyle Anderson was HPU’s top finisher with a 234 (74-83-77) tying for 11th overall. Anderson finished 8th in Par 4 scoring at +9.
Caleb Brown was 16th overall with a 236 (82-76-78), he was fourth overall in Par 5 scoring at -3. Brady Nelson ended T-19th with a 238 (80-81-77). Nelson was 8th in Par 3 scoring at +5.
Brady Nelson and Rainey Horne each recorded an Eagle in the tournament for HPU.
Jake Angerstein shot a 244 (83-83-78) to finish 25th, Lucas Kinkade was T-33rd with a 257 (85-89-83), and Rainey Horne ended T-36th with a 264 (88-86-90)
