Ramsey Fire 65% contained after rekindle

As of 9 p.m. Sunday, according to Lone Star State Incident Management Team – Texas A&M Forest Service Facebook page, the Ramsey Fire in Brown County was estimated at 3,100 acres and 65% contained.

Other wildfires across the state include:

– Crittenburg Complex, Coryell County – est. 17,267 acres, 0% contained. The complex consists of 3 wildfires that have burned together. The fire is actively burning in grass, brush and cedar fuel types. Ground resources are currently engaged in constructing containment lines to stop forward progression and are working in cooperation with Fort Hood fire personnel. – Das Goat Fire, Medina County – est. 1,092 acres, 50% contained. Crews continued suppression efforts with additional equipment and support from aviation. For more information, visit https://inciweb.nwcg.gov/incident/8030/.

– Bosque River Fire, Bosque County – est. 500 acres,10% contained

– West Nueces Fire, Kinney County – est. 5,500 acres, 0% contained

– Crooked Creek Fire, Kerr County – est. 100 acres, 70% contained

– Newlywed Fire, Houston County – est. 1 acres, 0% contained

– Kuykendall Mtn Fire, Bell County – 16 acres, 90% contained

– Moffat Fire, Bell County – est. 109 acres, 95% contained

– Sakewitz Fire, Kerr County – est. 160 acres, 95% contained

– Tyler 1453 Fire, Tyler County – est. 30 acres, 90% contained

– Eastland Complex, Eastland County – est. 54,513 acres, 90% contained. The complex consists of 7 fires that are being managed together:

– Kidd Fire, Eastland County (42,333 acres, 80% contained)

– Oak Mott Fire, Brown County (4,031 acres, 95% contained)

– Wheat Field Fire, Eastland County (7,268 acres, 95% contained)

– Mangum Fire, Eastland County (est. 11 acres, 100% contained)

– Walling Fire, Eastland County (383 acres, 100% contained)

– Blowing Basin Fire, Eastland County (258 acres, 100% contained)

– Cedar Mountain Fire, Eastland County (229 acres, 100% contained)

– Houston 1358 Fire, Houston County – 1.5 acres

– Black Jack Fire, Cherokee County – 138 acres

– Veal Fire, Parker County – 141 acres

– Archie Primm Fire, Rusk County – 100 acres

– Railroad Track Fire, Howard County – 8.6 acres
