David Milton Harvey

David Milton Harvey, 59, of Brownwood, passed away Monday, March 14, 2022. A graveside service will be held in the Rocky Creek Cemetery, Friday, March 18, 2022 at 10:00 A.M with Terry McDonald officiating under the direction of Heartland Funeral Home.

David was born April 21, 1962 in El Paso, Texas to Cecil and Elaine Harvey. He graduated from El Comino High School in Palm Springs and served in the U.S. Army for 2 years. David had a love for dirt bikes as a kid and was quite adventurous. He would spend hours travelling through the desert. He was Dad to two beautiful daughters and enjoyed sharing his passion for fishing with all of his family members. David was an avid and loyal Dallas Cowboy fan. On game day he was always sitting by the TV with a full fountain Dr. Pepper and some chocolate ready to watch his favorite team.

David is survived by his daughters, Allysa Harvey of Abilene & Ashley and husband Andrew Sousa of Leander; his grandson, Eric Sousa; mother, Elaine Harvey of Brownwood; sister Kathy DeLoof of Brownwood; younger brother, Bruce and wife Mei Harvey of Northern California; 4 nieces; 5 nephews; and 9 great nieces and nephews and friends.

David was preceded in death by his father, Cecil Mack Harvey; and brother, Alan Harvey.
