Kendra Lynn Cowan

Kendra Lynn Cowan, age 41, of Brownwood, Texas, died on Sunday morning, March 6, 2022, from injuries sustained in an auto accident near Cross Plains, Texas.

She was born June 16, 1980, in Brownwood, Texas, the daughter of Kenneth Wayne Cowan and Rhonda Clark Riley. She was raised in Mississippi where she gained her love of the outdoors and nature. She loved to go camping, fishing, four-wheeling, and barbecuing. She had a special love for animals and always showed a kind heart. She enjoyed life to the fullest.

She is survived by her daughter, Brandi Martinez of Brownwood, her brother, Sterling Cowan and wife Kristen of Odessa, her “Mom”, Carolyn Weathermon of Brownwood, Brandi’s father, David Martinez of Brownwood, her mother, Rhonda Riley of Rising Star, a niece, Makaylee Cowan and a nephew, Sterling Cowan, Jr. Numerous Cousins, Aunts, and Uncles also survive.

She was preceded in death by her father, Kenneth Wayne Cowan.

Funeral Services will be held at 2 PM on Monday, March 14, in the Davis-Morris Chapel of Heritage Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 5 – 7 on Sunday. A graveside service will be held at 2 PM on Tuesday, March 15, at the Sweetwater Cemetery in Sweetwater, Texas.
