On Monday, March 7, 2022, sixteen Brookesmith High School Students travelled to Lometa to compete in the District One Act Play competition with students from Lometa, Richland Springs and Rochelle. Brookesmith will now advance to the Bi-District Competition. Students Kirsten Langley, Alys Hodges and Brenden Been received Honorable Mention All-Star Cast awards. Savanna Hancock and Sharon Bradley received All-Star Cast awards. Conner Heard received the Tech Award for Lighting.
