Six Early Lady Horns and two Bangs Lady Dragons recently received all-district basketball accolades from the coaches of 8-3A.

Landing on the second team from Early were seniors Taylor Summers and Dana Lykes, while Bangs senior Maggie Morales also made the second team.

Receiving honorable mention were Early senior Carrigan Norris, juniors Madison Torrez and Caroline Welker, and freshman Jordan Simmons, along with Bangs senior Jacee Miller.

Academic all-district honorees from Early were Summers, Norris, Torrez, Welker, Simmons, Trinity Torrez, Averey Horton, Jodie Lykes, Lindsey Bastardo, Jenna Hataway, Gabby Leal, and Dakota Barksdale

For Bangs, academic all-district student-athletes were Morales, Miller, Raylee Hutchins, Rylie Guererro, and Joey Newton.
