STEPHENVILLE – The Early Lady Horns scored twice in the top of the fourth inning to rally past the Stephenville Honeybees for a 4-3 non-district softball victory Monday.

Early (6-2) trailed 2-1 after one inning and 3-2 through three frames.

The Lady Horns finished with nine hits – two each by Marissa Reedy and Aubrey Greaves, and one apiece from Jordan Simmons, Stoney Laughlin, Teagan Lopez, Grace LaRue and Trinity Torrez.

Simmons, Reedy, Lopez and Torrez each drove in a run.

In the circle, Lopez tossed all seven innings and allowed three earned runs on eight hits with six strikeouts and two walks.

Early did not commit an error in the field.
