LLANO – The Brownwood Lions golf team, in their second out of the spring, placed second at the Llano Invitational Wednesday with a composite score of 328.

The Lions – which won the Lampasas tournament on Jan. 31 with a 307 team score – finished six shots back of Llano tournament champion Wimberley (322), and 14 strokes ahead of third-place Wall (342).

Hudson Reagan posted the low round for the Lions with an 83 while Sir Bubba Jones, Cobe Walker, and Liam McNeese each fired an 85. Caleb Modawell chipped in an 87.

Andrew Boren also competed as a medalist for the Lions and carded a 118.

The Lions are back in action in Feb. 25-26 at the Region I-4A preview tournament at Shadow Hills Golf Course in Lubbock.
