Charlene Organ, age 63, passed away on Monday, January 31, 2022, at the Veterans Memorial Hospital in Temple, Texas. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, February 19, 2022 at 2 pm at Greater Faith Community Church. Visitation will be Saturday, February 19, 2022 from 1-2pm also at Greater Faith Community Church.

Charlene was born in Ballinger to the loving parents of Charles and Johnnie Mae Clark-Organ on September 2, 1958.

Charlene attended and graduated from Ballinger High School in 1977. She was an awesome track star for BISD during her high school years. After graduating, Charlene and her brother Charles joined the United States military services through a buddy program in 1978. She later moved to Brownwood, Texas where she raised her two beautiful children Tamika and Damien Organ. She was employed by 3M Manufacturing for twelve years and then moved to Midland and was employed by Surplus City until she moved to Copperas Cove with her daughter.

Charlene is preceded in death by her loving son Damien Organ, father Charles Organ Sr., her mother Johnnie Mae Clark-Organ, sister Linda Clark-Marshall and brother Henry LaDale Clark.

She leaves to cherish her life and memories: her amazing, beautiful daughter Tamika S. Organ of Killeen, Texas; her sisters Vina Clark, Bonita F. Clark-Shields, Clara Organ of Ballinger, Texas, and Stephanie Organ-Hale of Brownwood, Texas; and two brothers Charles Organ Jr. of Ballinger, Texas and Arthur Organ of Plano, Texas.

Charlene also leaves behind her most precious grandchildren Jadacie Salazar, Zoe Organ, Zion Coleman, Jaden Organ, Savior Organ, and Ethan Gray. One great-grandson Damien Dion Pacheco and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

Services entrusted to Brownwood Funeral Home.
